La Yangtian is a traditional Chinese folk art. The performer is usually one person. The props used are mainly wooden boxes with lenses installed around the box, which are equipped with pictures and illuminated by lamps. During the performance, the performer pulls the rope outside the box to operate the scrolling of the picture. The viewer observes the changes in the picture through the lens. Usually the built-in pictures are complete stories or related content. The performer also sings and explains the content of the pictures. Therefore, we chose the traditional form of "pulling a film" as the motif of this non-heritage cultural and creative product.
